Physics Building 226
All Physics Majors are assigned Physics Department Advisors beginning with their Freshman year, and these students should find out who their advisor is by asking the Physics Department office staff in PHYS 226 (phone 479-575-2506 or email clacy@uark.edu). New Physics Majors should contact their Physics Department Advisor early in their first semester in order to learn of scholarship and research opportunities that are available to them through the Physics Department, and make sure they are on the list to be notified of important departmental and physics student events.
For registration advising, come prepared knowing what courses you have completed and what courses you still need. You can view your completed courses through your Student Center on ISIS. Print off and complete an advising checklist available from
http://www.uark.edu/depts/physics/ under Current Students and bring it with you to the appointment.
