Advising Center
My Advisor
In Fulbright College, my advisor is determined by my program and/or classification. As a freshman or sophomore, I will likely see an advisor in the Fulbright College Advising Center, unless I am doing four-year honors, music, or in some cases, premedicine. Once I am a junior and have a major, I will go to the department of my major for advising.
The Advising Center encourages consistent advising and will assist me in seeing the same advisor, if that is my preference. However, it is my responsibility to help with this by remembering my advisor's name and responding early to requests for appointments. If I do want to see a different advisor, then I just have to ask.
